My mother is a fantastic
lady.
She is 94 years "young" and loves every minute of life. Mother
makes quite a few of the items I sell in my salon,
such as fun fur boas,
barefoot sandals,
dishcloths,
and fun fur striped socks. She is
also working on a fun fur bolero but that has
taken a
back
seat to all her other projects.
(She did finish it but it is not sold as of yet.)
She is definitely up for any challenge and my
clients love checking out her latest ventures.
Currently she is busy embroidering dish towels
but they sell as fast as she gets a set done. Nothing wrong with that.
Mother's head is full of anecdotes - from little ditties to
serious poetry. You never know what
is brewing "up there". So, I've asked her to
write some of them down so I can share them with you from time to time. Keep coming back
for more....
